圆角珠宝盒好看，难的是那道圆角怎么把皮包服帖。我们做的「圆角高档珠宝盒」是外包皮革、配金属按钮，颜色和LOGO都能订。方盒子皮好包，四个直角一折一粘就利索；圆角不行，皮在转角处要拉伸、要收拢，包不好就起皱、鼓包，手指一摸一道楞。
皮革加硬纸板是这套盒子的底子。硬纸板给形状，皮革给手感和外观。圆角位置的纸板要先模切出圆弧，皮革裁得比弧面大一圈，包上去用胶慢慢赶平，转角处多出的料要剪出小口子再往里塞，不然收不干净。我们一般选薄而韧的皮，太厚的皮在圆角根本弯不过来，硬弯就裂。
皮也分三六九等。PU皮便宜、花色多，但低温发硬；超纤皮手感更接近真皮，耐磨抗造；要更高档就上真皮，纹路自然但每张不一，订大货得锁样。圆角盒对皮的要求更挑——得太薄才弯得动，可太薄又撑不住形，所以我们常在圆角内层先贴一层薄硬衬，皮包上去既有弧度又不塌。
圆角半径也有说法。半径越小，皮折得越急，越容易在转角起鸡皮褶；半径大一点包起来顺，但盒子显得笨。我们一般按盒子尺寸取一个折中半径，小盒取小弧、大盒取大弧，手感才协调。订制时一定先打样看实物，照片看不出圆角服不服帖，拿到手用拇指沿转角刮一遍，顺滑没楞就是成了；有楞就返工，别将就，因为这一道楞在灯光下会被放大，柜台上特别扎眼。

Our "Rounded-Corner Premium Jewelry Box" is leather-wrapped with a metal clasp button, and both the color and the logo are customizable. A square box is easy — four right angles fold and glue clean. A rounded corner is different: the leather must stretch and gather at the turn, and if it is done poorly it wrinkles or bubbles, leaving a ridge you can feel with a fingertip. Leather over rigid board is the foundation of this box. The board gives the shape, the leather gives the feel and the look. The board at the corner is first die-cut into an arc; the leather is cut a touch larger than the curved face, glued on and worked flat, and the excess at the turn is clipped with small notches and tucked inward, or the finish will not be clean. We generally choose a thin, supple leather — a thick hide simply will not bend around the radius without cracking. Not all leather is equal. PU is cheap and comes in many colors but stiffens in the cold; microfiber feels closer to real leather and wears well; for the top tier there is genuine leather, with natural grain but no two hides alike, so a bulk order has to be locked to a sealed sample. A rounded box is pickier still — the leather must be thin enough to bend yet thick enough to hold form, so we often lay a thin stiff interlining under the corner first; the leather then takes the curve without collapsing. The corner radius matters too. A smaller radius folds the leather more sharply and tends to pucker into a chicken-skin wrinkle at the turn; a larger radius wraps cleanly but makes the box look bulky. We pick a balanced radius against the box size — a small arc for a small box, a wider one for a large one — so the feel stays coherent. Always ask for a physical sample when customizing; a photo will not show whether the corner is smooth. Run a thumb along the curve: if it is smooth with no ridge, it is done; if there is a ridge, send it back, because under counter lighting that ridge is magnified and it jumps out at the customer.
The metal button is a working closure, and fitting it takes care. The button sits in a pre-drilled hole in the lid with a backing washer behind it, so the press is springy and never loose. The color follows the client's brief — champagne gold, gunmetal, rose gold, all possible; the logo is custom too, foil-stamped or embossed on the lid face, positioned clear of the stressed corner zone, or the leather loosens over time and the logo lifts with it. Foil temperature needs control as well: too hot and the leather scorches to a shine, too low and the gold film will not stick and rubs off.
Clients often ask if it can be cheaper. It can — swap in faux leather, skip the careful corner wrap, use plastic for the button — but that is a different class of box. A rounded box sells on that smoothly wrapped leather and the crisp click of the metal clasp. When customizing, turn the sample over in your hand: any ridge at the corner, how crisp the button's return is, how clean the logo edges sit — pass those three and the order is safe.
A rounded box shows its quality at a glance. Whether the leather is smooth and the clasp is crisp is something the hand knows at once. Do not be taken in by a glossy photo; take the sample and run a thumb along the curve — that tells you more than any spec sheet.
