同一种盒，装银饰和装珍珠，内衬不能一样。这事店员常忽略，结果客人戴两次就来问「怎么变黑了」「珠子怎么刮了」。盒和袋不是通用容器，内衬得跟着珠宝材质走。
银饰最怕硫。空气里一点点硫，银面就发乌。我们做珠宝袋ZB5，米白绒布束口袋，内衬是植绒绒布，作用是把银件和空气隔开，抽绳一收，氧化慢半拍。尺寸80×80×35mm，起订一千只，烫金压纹都能定制。银饰放这种软袋里，比裸搁抽屉强太多。包装用独立OPP防尘袋加五层外箱，出厂也不怕压。

Staff miss this, and the customer comes back after two wears asking why it went black, or why the bead is scratched. A box or pouch is not a generic container; the lining has to follow the material. Silver fears sulphur. A trace in the air tarnishes the surface. Our Jewelry Pouch ZB5, an off-white velvet drawstring pouch, uses a velvet liner that separates the silver from air; draw the cord and oxidation slows. At 80x80x35mm, minimum order a thousand, with foil and emboss customisation, it beats leaving silver loose in a drawer. Each ships in its own OPP dust bag inside a five-layer carton, so it survives the trip too.
Pearls fear scratches. That surface shine is earned, and a hard box corner leaves a mark. The common mismatch on the market is pearl forced into coarse velvet and jade wrapped in thin paper for shipping — the supplier sold a box, not a fit.
Stores that keep regulars are the ones whose pouch actually suits the piece. Match on the spot and the trust compounds, because the customer learns she does not have to think about the box — you already did. We would rather ship one right box than ten pretty wrong ones; returns cost more than lining, and the mistake stays silent: nobody complains about a good lining, they just come back.
Choosing lining is not about dearer is better. Silver gets velvet to block air, pearls get satin to cut friction, jade gets a rigid box with thick padding — each to its need. When we take a custom order, the first question is what material goes inside, then we quote the lining: silver leans to ZB5 velvet for air-block, pearl to ZB4 satin, jade to ZBH8 rigid. Decide the box first and stuff the goods in, and nine times out of ten it fails to protect. Lining is the quiet half of packaging, and the half customers remember a year later when the jewellery still looks new.
